The clock of violence masked by false love
Production dedicated to domestic violence against men and women.
In this work of mine I have chosen to represent, through a clock, the time experienced by an unhappy couple, where periods of fictitious love (red rose) alternate with violence (bullet) that gradually escalates.
The parties delude themselves that their relationship can improve despite the signs of violence, every time they give or receive a sign of love, but in reality they do not realize that they are only "misunderstanding" a pure feeling like love.
Violence dominates their time more and more insistently until it culminates in murder. Each hour corresponds to a certain event:
1 am - I kiss you
2 hours - I forbid you something
3 hours -I caress you
4 hours -I offend you
5 am - I hug you
6 am - I'll throw you an object
7 am - I'll give you a rose
8 am - I'll hurt you
9 am - I love you
10 am - I hate you
11 am - I smile at you
12 o'clock - I'll kill you
The inevitable alliance
Scene from my dream world. On this canvas I wanted to represent an alliance between two completely opposite subjects. The figure on the left has the Star of David symbol on his right arm, while the figure on the right has a Nazi swastika. They would like to eliminate each other but they resist, perhaps just waiting. They are at a point in their lives where they have no alternative. One of them goes up, the other goes down, just as the direction of the arrows indicates. They are both unaware of the pact they are making, because as you can see behind the figure who descends there is an invisible entity that conditions his choice. Also note what is present and missing within their minds. One is free, the other sucked into a vortex.

Look at yourself in the mirror
The sketch that freezes time
In this work I represented time passing, resting on a mirror. The mirror is a symbolic object linked to time, in fact within it we reflect our image from the first years of life and every time we use it, time has passed since the previous time. For the second hand I used a syringe containing botulinum, taken from the vial included in the composition. Botox is used as an anti-aging treatment to counteract and reduce wrinkles and signs of aging that appear on the face due to continuous mimic muscle movements; in cosmetic surgery it acts on these muscles, weakening and paralyzing them for a period of varying duration. Inside the mirror the observer can perceive the momentary paralysis of time punctuated by the squirting botulinum injection.
In this project of mine, using resin I specifically created an imperfection and smudging effect on the watch, so as to make the side effects caused by the abuse of cosmetic surgery more evident. At first Botox may give an appearance of static perfection, but inevitably the alteration will be returned to its previous state.
