The door of time

For this installation I used:an hourglass, some sand, a pipe to which I connected a tap and an old wooden piece of furniture.

In this work of mine I wanted to represent a path through these scales of death and rebirth as if they were connected to each other. Someone observes this strange and invisible movement in the distance.

Below is the nursery rhyme I composed:
Music - Let's go - Get on the angel's horse, sweet and reassuring - Contrary - Enter the mechanism and start spinning - Soft music takes you back - You get off changed - It's still you.

The Lužniki massacre

THE LUŽNIKI MASSACRE

On October 20, 1982, a UEFA Cup match took place between Spartak Moscow and Haarlem. A few minutes from the end, with the Soviet club ahead, many spectators began to leave the stadium due to the cold, heading towards the only open exit (all the others were closed). In the 88th minute, Spartak Moscow doubled their lead with a goal from Sergej Švetsov, and some fans decided to go back, but their return to the stands was prevented by the police and as a result the stairs became overcrowded and eventually collapsed. 66 people died and 61 were injured.The following day a short article was reported in the newspapers which said "Yesterday at Lužniki an accident occurred after a football match. There were some injuries among the spectators".The matter was never fully investigated by the judiciary. Versions different from the actual events were given and when the witnesses tried to tell the truth they were immediately interrupted.The families of the victims were prevented from writing on the tombstones "died in an accident at the Lužniki stadium".
